Once upon a time, I did a cast lineup for Miracle Child and it was kind of mediocre. But now. Now I have civvies and solid relative heights and confirmed paint designs.
Somehow, this picture became compositionally all about Rossan. Geeze, Rossan, way to be dead-middle in a height lineup and also wear the most obnoxious colors. And you’re not even paying attention.
Rude, Rossan. Rude.

I can’t over how Lazapis face turned out. She looks like shes pretending to have patience for Sephar, but really doesn’t. “the hell are you complaining about now, Seph?”
I exhausted two gray markers working on this, and had to dig up my prismacolor markers to finish. I dont miss having to use those, but I’m glad I kept them around. :) in case you’re curious, copics cool gray 5 is about the same shade as prismas cool gray 70%.
To be honest I think Sephar probably doesn’t even register that expression from other people anymore, she sees it often enough.

Anyway, the next chapter is going to be chapter 100, which is A Landmark, so let’s call this celebratory chapter 100 fanart!
Ah, man, now I’ve really got to get on getting that chapter written! This is splendid. I love how you draw everyone, and I love the dynamics in this. Vollue’s got herself in the middle of everything, and half the group is annoyed at Rossan… Staiko kind of trying to get in at the edges, and Lydain and Scarejoy just chilling and Lazapi and Jormun holding themselves a little aloof. And Sephar looks like she’s planning her escape.
