Whoops it’s been a while since there’s been an update, here is one now.
My new favorite band to which to write the Grand Highblood’s scenes is Blind Guardian, FYI.
For my first piece of the Relay Commissions Drive! A really really generous individual who wished to remain anonymous asked for an image of Bramblepatch’s Rossan without his paint on. I decided this meant I needed to draw him first thing in the evening, just as he wakes up and before he gets his face on.
The commissioner intended these as ‘gifting art from one of my favorite fanartists to one of my favorite authors’, which is pretty much sweet as hell. Thanks, friend!

Originally I was going to do Arsast but he wasn’t translating to spriting well, so I decided to go with my other favorite. Lydain likely to come soon.

which, while really not being of any relevance to the greater point of that post, I of course took as a challenge.
Immediately, my mind decided that yes, of course it should be Arsast, who else would most need a tail but the funambulist? Balance! Hooray!
And so digitigrade+tail Arsast swanning about on coral reefs at low tide like a little backlit hipster tool (spoilers: that is exactly what he is)
